Original Tribal Masks and Artifacts

We carry many varieties of original African masks, art and artifacts from many different remote areas and villages in Africa.  We also have unique tribal furniture and artifacts from Indonesia as well as Tibet including carved and painted Buddhist shrines and Asmat carved wooden shields.  Tribal African masks are used in ceremonies and seasonal rituals.  An example is the Burkina Faso tribes “Sun Mask”.  This tribal mask was used to celebrate the farming season.  It represents the sun, rain and earth and growth.  The name Burkina Faso stands for “The land of the upright and honest men”.
