Vintage garden stool from North China hand-carved from dense black marble. Its surface is richly articulated with a repeating geometric motif that has been softened over time by natural wear and patina. The pierced, quatrefoil-style openings lend both visual depth and functional lightness to the form, while the subtly weathered finish reveals warm undertones beneath the dark stone, enhancing its sense of age and authenticity. Compact yet substantial, it works beautifully as a side table, pedestal, or standalone object bringing a beautiful presence to both interior and garden settings. Each is slightly unique in aged patina/coloring, and other inherent and handmade qualities.
