Original Dan Bete warrior mask from Ivory Coast 1st half of 20th century. Unusually styled carved hands covering face and pointing downwards with thumbs across the brow of the nose. Small rectangular eye slits and decorative nail head trim the protruding forehead. Sign of age and use with good patina.
