Original Ethiopian Coptic cross handmade and cast in silver and nickel. This is one of the larger crosses which was most likely carried on staffs during processionals and / or displayed on altars. The coptic cross is formed in a specific way with its lines in order to represent the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Ethiopian crosses are unique in their intricate designs and lattice-like patterning. They honor both the tradition of their faith and Ethiopian artistry.
