Authentic vintage carved Iroko wood door from the Igbo people of Nigeria. These intricately hand carved doors were used as entrance to a male meeting houses known as obi. Iroko is a sacred hardwood and difficult to work with; it has symbolic meaning for strength of the men in the tribe. Rustic and aged with character and history, this sturdy piece is ready to display as a unique and meaningful art piece. Displayed on black iron stand.
