Authentic circular design made by the women of Hausa Fulani who expertly create unique and one of kind designs to differentiate each members own basket cover used to protect and cover wood carved bowls containing grains and food. Some of these useful covers are made from natural woven organic reeds and grass and others are woven creatively from shaved fine recycled plastic containers. Many have the actual colorful flat plastic bottle bottom placed in the center of the design. Good condition with signs of age and use. Wonderful folk art pieces displayed in grouping on the wall or used as place mats with history.
