The composition features a seated lower figure supporting an elongated central column adorned with multiple projecting heads and crowned by a rare dual-faced top element representing masculine and feminine balance, ancestral duality, and generational continuity. The calm facial expressions, scarification-style forehead carving, and rhythmic symmetry reflect the refined sculptural language traditionally associated with Baule artistry from Côte d’Ivoire. Braided natural fiber bindings and aged iron ring details further enhance the piece’s ritual character and authenticity.
