Beautiful tribal Tiv or Jukun star gazer chair formed from the natural branching of indigenous trees. The horizontal plank is placed across the inverted limbs to create the low seat. From the area of Nigeria's Benue river valley these simple modern form chairs were considered personal possessions and indicators of social rank.
