This large vintage Indian pestle pot was hand-carved from a single solid hardwood trunk and originally used for pounding grain, rice, millet, and spices in rural village life. Its sculptural hourglass silhouette, deeply worn interior cavity, and richly weathered surface reflect decades of utilitarian use and authentic age. Heavy tool marks, natural cracking, softened edges, and layered patina give the piece exceptional texture and material presence. Measuring an impressive size, it functions beautifully today as a sculptural object, organic pedestal, or statement vessel. Sturdy heavy piece approximately 100 lbs. Inner hole dimensions are 11" x 11" x 12".
