These vintage Chinese elm stools carry the quiet strength of utilitarian craftsmanship, each one shaped by time and use into a distinctly sculptural form. Hand-crafted from solid elm with lots of character, they feature thick plank seats, splayed legs, and simple stretcher supports, all softened by a beautifully weathered patina that reveals decades of wear. Cracks, grain variation, and sun-bleached tones which cannot be replicated. Subtle patches and old repairs speak to their working life, adding depth and authenticity to every piece. Compact yet sturdy, they function as stools, side tables, or accent pieces and can be used indoors or out. Each stool is one-of-a-kind, with natural variations that make it as much an object of history as it is a functional piece. Each is sold individually.
